To ensure your gas appliance warranty is maintained your appliance must be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

1. All Home Gas fitters and our recommended installers are Gas Safe registered. 
2. We have LPG and Natural Gas qualified engineers.
3. An appliance serviced by Home Gas Supplies will ensure your appliances optimal performance.

What do we do on an annual Boiler Service?

• We inspect your boiler and controls to make sure they’re working properly (we do not supply or install replacement batteries to controls)
• We check your boiler for corrosion and leaks.
• We take off the casing of your boiler to inspect the main components.
• We check the gas pressure.
• We test the flue to make sure it’s not emitting any unsafe fumes.
• We clean the parts (if tests indicate they need it).
• We pop the casing back on and check the seals (it is recommended that boiler seals are replaced on a biannual basis)
• We update your Service record in your Boiler Manual.

What we do on an annual Unvented Cylinder Service?

• We check the Expansion relief valve
• We check the Temperature & Pressure Relief valve
• We check the Expansion vessel and re-charged it/them if required
• We check the Cylinder for leaks
• We update your Service record in your Cylinder Manual

• Parts and installation of parts are not included in the service and would be at extra cost (priced on a job by job basis)
• We only do the steps detailed above to the boiler and cylinder; we cannot be held responsible for any issues thereafter arising on other areas of the central heating system.​

Home Gas Supplies offers service appointments at a fixed price inclusive of VAT, the price is dependent on the geographical location. Should parts be required then the appointment will be reclassified as a breakdown and the associated breakdown price will be charged.
